Today, the first training session of the Men’s National Team under the instructions of Vassilis Spanoulis is scheduled at the Peace and Friendship Stadium ahead of the matches with the Czech Republic and the Netherlands for the EuroBasket 2025 windows.
Today begins the preparation of the Men’s National Team for the matches against the Czech Republic and the Netherlands as part of the EuroBasket qualifiers.
In the afternoon, the first gathering and the first training will take place under the instructions of Vassilis Spanoulis at the Stadium of Peace and Friendship, the stadium where our representative group will play the home match against the Czech Republic.
Vassilis Spanoulis has called up 16 players in the pre-selection, with Naz Mitrou-Long being called up for the first time since acquiring Greek citizenship.
It is reminded that two naturalized players do not have the right to participate in a match of the National Team at the same time.
In the final phase of EuroBasket 2025, the first three of the qualifying group qualify, where together with Greece, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Great Britain are located.
