The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has published the exchange rates for today (21).
Accordingly, the purchase value of one US dollar has been reported as 307 rupees 14 percent and the selling price as 316 rupees 81 percent.
The buying price of sringing pound was reported at Rs 386 06 per cent and the selling price at Rs 401 88 per cent.
Canadian dollar
The purchase value of one euro was reported at 330 rupees 32 percent and the selling price at 344 rupees 44 percent.
The purchase value of one Canadian dollar was recorded at 225 rupees 68 percent and the selling price was reported at 236 rupees 08 percent.
The buying price of one Australian dollar was reported at 199 rupees 43 percent and the selling price was reported at 210 rupees 04 percent.
The purchase value of one Singapore dollar was recorded at 226 rupees 79 percent and the selling price was 237 rupees 60 percent.
Today’s Situation in Banks
Similarly, the commercial banks in Sri Lanka have published the buying and selling values of the dollar.
Accordingly, in Makkal Bank, the purchase value of the US dollar has decreased from 306.46 rupees to 306.22 rupees and the selling price has decreased from 317.14 rupees to 316.89 rupees.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar decreased to Rs 305.76 from Rs 306 and the selling rate decreased to Rs 315.75 from Rs 316.
It is noted that in Sampath Bank, the buying and selling prices of the US dollar decreased from Rs 307.50 to Rs 307 and from Rs 316.50 to Rs 316 respectively.
