On Saturday, October 19, it’s that time again: On the occasion of Franz’s Bracket Hiking Day, the 1976 Olympic champion invites you to Bad Kleinkirchheim again. The meeting point is at 8:30 am at the Kaiserburgbahn, there will be a mountain mass at 10 am, after which the hike will begin. Participants can choose between three routes with different levels of difficulty. In addition to Klemm, Olympic ski jumping champion Martin Koch and mountain expert Hannes Wallner will also join the routes.
The hiking day also takes place in bad weather. Participation is free; no need to register in advance. The Bad Kleinkirchheimer Bergbahnen offers a special ticket for hikers including the mountain tour at a special price of 19.50 euros for adults and 11.50 euros for children. The passage can be claimed for free with the special ticket. With the Kärnten Card – which must be shown at the cash desk at the Kaiserburgbahn valley station – the mountain railway ride is free.
