The highest grossing films in the country are now coming out continuously from Telugu. Rajamouli’s Bahubali started this trend. After Bahubali 2, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa and Rajamouli’s RRR, which came out last week, have been eye-catching successes in Bollywood. Now another pan Indian film is coming out in Telugu. The film is directed by Puri Jagannath and stars Vijay Devarakonda in the lead role. The project was announced at a ceremony in Mumbai.
The film is an action drama. Vijay Devarakonda will appear in the film in a form never seen before. Written and directed by Puri Jagannath himself, the film is produced by Charmi Kaur, Vamsi Paidipally, Singa Rao and Puri Jagannath under the banner of Puri Connect and Sreekara Studio. The mass entertainer will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. This is a project that makes me very excited. The story of the film is unique and touches all Indians. I am proud to be a part of this dream project of Puri. Looking forward to working with Charmi and her team. This is a character I have never done before and Vijay Devarakonda shared his hopes for the film.
The film, which starts shooting in April, has multiple international locations. The producers plan to release it to theaters around the world on August 3, 2023. PRO Sabari.
Post production is over; ‘Twelfth Man’ is now out to the audience
Twelfth Man, directed by Antony Perumbavoor and starring Mohanlal, has completed its post-production work. The film, which is slated for a direct OTT release, will be released soon. But the release date has not been decided. Twelfth Man is expected to make its debut with Mohanlal’s last direct OTD release, Disney Plus Hotstar, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran Sukumaran and released by Bro Daddy.
Twelve Man’s USP is a movie directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal in the lead role. The shooting of the mystery thriller started in the first week of October last year. Twelve Man is the first Mohanlal film to be directed by Jeethu Joseph apart from his own script. Newcomer KR Krishnakumar has penned the script for the film. Unni Mukundan, Anushree, Aditi Ravi, Leona Lishoi, Veena Nandakumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Saiju Kurup, Shanthi Priya, Priyanka Nair and Sivada play the lead roles. Satish Kurup is the cinematographer. The main location of the film was Kulamavu in Idukki.
