However, there is a special policy by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas which allows civil servants and government employees with work agreements (PPPK) not to enter the office.

However, civil servants and PPPK are required to work from home.

Minister Anas said the government’s decision to implement a combination of official duties from the office (WFO) and official duties from home (WFH) for state civil servants (ASN) on April 16 and 17 2024 to strengthen the management of Eid backflow .

“WFH and WFO regulations are implemented strictly while prioritizing organizational performance and the quality of public services,” said Minister Anas, Monday (15/4).

He explained that according to President Joko Widodo’s direction, agencies directly related to public services are not doing WFH, that is, they are still 100 percent WFO.

For agencies directly related to public services, WFO remains optimally implemented at 100 percent.

As for government agencies related to government administration and leadership support services, WFH can be carried out at a maximum/maximum of 50 percent of the number of employees, the technicalities of which are regulated by each government agency.
