The Superbonus is of great interest to Italians. The proof of the great attention to the measure, which we recall raises the deduction rate of expenses incurred from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2022 for interventions in the field of domestic energy efficiency (and not only) to 110%, the high number of applications received by the Revenue Agency. Thousands of taxpayers wrote to have clarifications on the facilitation introduced in the Relaunch Decree. Between 2020 and 2021 – explains the central director of the Agency, Antonio Dorrello – we received 6,500 questioning requests. 4,200 in 2020 and 2.20 in 2021. This is a significant number. The point on the measure was made during a hearing with the Productive Activities and Environment Committees of the Chamber in which the popularity of the Superbonus was reiterated.

Marco Vignola, head of the energy sector of the National Consumers Union, says, commenting on the thousands of questions: A disproportionate and worrying number, which attests to the too many uncertainties of those who want to take advantage of this very important facility. If this strategic measure is to take off for real, all these doubts must be eliminated as soon as possible, clarifying the gray areas with clearer rules, more exhaustive guides, explanatory circulars, but above all simplifying access to the facility.

Several issues raised by citizens: we wonder what happens if the calculation methods of the certified technician, which guarantee the improvement of at least two energy classes of the property, are incorrect ex post. What happens if there are building differences, for example between the project approved by the municipality and the actual state of the property or what are the factors that can block the procedure for the facilitation. Then there is the problem of insurance coverage and also of the economic convenience in assigning the credit to the company that carries out, for example, the efficiency work at home.
