Thanks to the bonuses, Adam Yates is more than 20 seconds ahead of the whole peloton, apart from Simon Yates (8 seconds) and Tadej Pogacar (18 seconds). A very fine mattress which will not be too much when the first stages of this Tour de France are rather hilly.
The Briton donned the first yellow jersey of this Grande Boucle thanks to his victory in Bilbao, at the end of the inaugural stage.
