On Tuesday, May 14, the “PPC Tour of Hellas 2024” race begins, in which the National Men’s Road Cycling Team will of course participate.
The EOP announced the 6th of the athletes that make up the National Team, among which is the Rhodesian cyclist Nikos Drakos.
The relevant announcement of the Federation states the following:
“In a few days, the PPC Tour of Hellas 2024 starts from Thessaloniki, and more specifically on May 14, with the participation of 20 teams and 120 athletes from all over the world. Among the 20 teams is the Greek National Team, which will compete again this year in its blue and white uniform, which bears the logos of the major sponsor of the Hellenic Cycling Federation, PPC S.A.
The selection of the six Greek international athletes took place after a recommendation by the federal coaches, as well as the National Teams Commissioner Mr. Pantelis Papazoglou. It had the agreement of the technical committee and decision of the Executive Committee of the E.O.P.
So, in the brilliant presentation on May 14 of the PPC Tour of Hellas 2024, which will take place under the White Tower of the Bride of Thermaikos, the following athletes will be present:
-Tjortzakis Polychronis (Talos)
-Arvanitou Nikiforos (A.O. Theseas)
-Drakos Nikolas- Michael (A.O. Theseas)
– Ilias Periklis (PS Kronos)
– Giannoutsos Miltiadis (Aeolos)
-Vila Emiliano
Substitutes:
