Tourists, who last July were forced to leave the hotels they were staying in on the Greek island of Rhodes when a forest fire broke out, have the right to a one-week holiday on the island with free accommodation, reports Kathimerini newspaper, quoted by BTA.

Beneficiaries, regardless of their nationality, can enter the platform of and apply for the issuance of financial vouchers for hotels in Rhodes, as part of the Greek State’s action “Rhodes Week”.

Beneficiaries can secure a free stay of seven consecutive days and six nights in Rhodes and in a hotel of their choice among those participating in the promotion in one of the following two periods – either in spring, from now until 31 May, or in autumn, from 1 October until November 15 of this year

Depending on the type of hotel and room category they were staying in during the fires, beneficiaries can choose the appropriate accommodation from the list of hotels. It is noted that when choosing a hotel, their availability will be taken into account, so that the availability determined by the hotel for the relevant period is not exceeded.

The Rodos Week platform also includes all the necessary information in both English and Greek, including frequently asked questions.
