One of the twin children admitted to hospital due to cold in Jaffna has succumbed to treatment.
The said incident took place yesterday evening (4).
A four-month-old baby named Ravinathan Arab from Maseri, Warani area died in this way.
Death without treatment
The twin children were also admitted to Mandigai Hospital as they had caught cold and were being treated and both the children are in Jaffna for further treatment. He has been transferred to a teaching hospital.
In this case, one of the two children died without treatment.
It is also reported that Sudden Death Investigation Officer Namasivayam Biremkumar conducted the postmortem on the child’s body.
