The four dedicated rescuers rely entirely on public support to cover veterinary expenses, including treatments like chemotherapy for some of their animals.
“As an association we have been around for more than a year and during this time we have found homes for around 50 rescued dogs,” a rescuer stated.Donations can be made through the association’s social media channels or directly to the veterinarian, ensuring transparency in the use of funds.
Hope for a Future Home
Following a prosperous surgery and recovery period, Patitas Doradas AC plans to find Valentina a loving, permanent home. Veterinarians estimate the dog is approximately one year old. The organization carefully vets potential adopters, conducting monthly adoption events and providing ongoing being of the animals in their care.
“We have given up about 50 dogs for adoption because we hold several adoption events a month. Adoptions are carried out with a protocol and we follow up on all of them to know how they are in their new home,” the representative added.
