Abu Dhabi: Travel Ban In UAE: Travel restrictions announced for UAE nationals come into effect today in the wake of the escalating Kovid cases. The UAE has imposed a travel ban on citizens who do not receive the covid vaccine.

In addition, the National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation have advised those who have been fully vaccinated to take the booster dose.

Those who are excluded for medical reasons, those who deserve humane treatment, and those who travel for medical purposes are exempted from receiving the vaccine. Authorities said the regulation was aimed at effectively dealing with the rising Kovid situation and ensuring security.

The number of Kovid patients currently undergoing treatment in the UAE has crossed 30,000. According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, 2,759 more people have been diagnosed with the virus in the country in the past day. In the last 24 hours, 913 patients have been cured. One Kovid death has also been reported.

In the last 24 hours, 4,69,401 Kovids were inspected. From this new patients were discovered. So far, a total of 7,85,625 people have been diagnosed with the Kovid virus in the UAE. Of these, 7,53,033 have been cured. So far, 2,174 people have died of Kovid in the country.
