jpnn.com – SURABAYA – Bali United FC needs one point from the remaining two League 1 matches, to ensure a ticket to the Championships Series or semifinals.
The two matches that Serdadu Tridatu – Bali United’s nickname will play, are versus Persebaya Surabaya and Persita Tangerang.
Bali United coach Stefano Cugurra also implied that his team wanted to immediately ensure they passed to the semifinals.
“The opportunity is still there and we have to work hard in the remaining two away matches. The most important thing now is to focus on the closest match against Persebaya, after that then Persita,” he said.
“We have to focus and concentrate so we don’t concede. Apart from that, we have to maintain team work so we can score goals against our opponents,” he added.
He hopes that the players will work hard and not underestimate Persebaya, which is in a bad trend (having suffered two consecutive defeats to Dewa United FC and Persib Bandung).
“We have to work hard, this match is important to stay in the top 4. We know the quality of Persebaya. So, we have to play well too,” said the Brazilian coach.
