Narcotics from the border would be sold throughout the state

PMR (Highway Police) seized an estimated load of R$ 2.4 million of weapons and more than 1.1 tons of marijuana in the urban perimeter of Ponta Porã, a city 313 kilometers from the Capital, during the morning of this Thursday (31 ).
According to the note sent to the press, agents were patrolling when they saw suspicious movement in a Fiat Uno next to a Chevrolet S10 truck in front of a residence.
Upon observing the approach of the car, the driver fled, leaving only the driver of the truck, a 30-year-old man. In the body of the vehicle, several tablets were found, as well as four 9mm pistols and two ballistic vests.
During the approach, it was found that S10 boards and chassis were not compatible. To the military police, the driver confessed that he would leave the vehicle with the narcotics in the care of the residents of the residence, two men aged 22 and 19.
Like the cargo, those involved were forwarded to the municipality’s Civil Police Station, which continues with investigations.
