The perpetrator, identified as Ryan Eagon, 42, allegedly shot his victims before taking his own life, leaving a community reeling from the devastating loss.
Domestic Dispute Preceded the Shooting
According to the Tiffin Police Department, the shooting stemmed from “ongoing domestic issues” and occurred after Eagon discovered his wife was planning to move out of their home. officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 100 block of Huss Street shortly before 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered four victims suffering from gunshot wounds, alongside a woman who was unharmed physically but experiencing severe emotional trauma.
Dustin Willey, 29, the father of the seven-year-old boy, was assisting the woman with moving her belongings when the shooting occurred. Both Willey and the woman believed eagon was away on a work trip at the time.they were inside the residence while the children played outside near a vehicle.
