Former US President Donald Trump is considering Texas Governor Greg Abbott and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott as candidates for the post of vice president. As Day.Az reports, he stated this in an interview with Fox News.

According to Trump, he considers Abbott an amazing person who does an excellent job.

Regarding Scott, the former president said that as a candidate he was normal, but “he didn’t want to talk about himself.” Nevertheless, Trump called him a good person.

Prior to this, Joe Biden and Donald Trump visited neighboring cities in Texas on the border with Mexico on the same day. The current president in absentia called on the former to cooperate in resolving the protracted migration crisis on the southern border of the United States. Trump again criticized Biden, accusing him of the influx of “illegal criminals,” and called him the worst president in the history of the country.

In his speech, Biden thanked border officials, promised to provide more resources and criticized Trump for his opposition to funding proposed by Democrats to strengthen the border.

Trump, in turn, characterized the migration crisis in the United States as an “invasion by Joe Biden,” blaming migrants and the president who allows them into the United States for numerous crimes in the United States.
