From February 6, Turkey and Syria were hit by successive powerful earthquakes. Due to this, huge damage has been caused in Turkey and tens of thousands of people have lost their lives in the rubble of buildings.

Within 12 hours of the first 7.8 magnitude earthquake, the second 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck. It is said to be the worst disaster of this century. The severe winter in Turkey, power cuts, trauma among the people, and people still trapped inside the buildings that have not been rescued have forced the rescuers to face a great challenge.

In this case, the Indian National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), which worked well during the Japan and Nepal earthquakes, has now gone to Turkey and Syria for rescue work.

Along with them, India has sent four rescue dogs namely Julie, Romeo, Honey and Rambo. Disaster rescue teams along with these skilled rescue dogs will embark on search and rescue operations.
