The Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Kocawrote in X that Bitmez “altered” during his speech and that he was closely monitoring his condition.
The deputy had expressed criticism of the AKP party, arguing that they were not taking concrete steps to stop the conflict between Israel and the Islamist group Hamas, limiting itself to condemning Israel in a “merely rhetorical” manner.
Until Tuesday, authorities in the Hamas-run territory estimated at more than 20,000 Palestinian victims, according to the Associated Press. Palestinian and Israeli officials believe the death toll in Gaza exceeds 15,000, most of them civilians.
