In the meantime, “Maariv” learned that during the reprimand call held by the Turkish Deputy Ambassador to the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jacob Blitstein, the message conveyed by the Turkish diplomat was that “President Erdogan’s severe rhetoric against Israel stems from Erdogan’s political considerations in the local elections in Turkey.”
According to the message delivered by the Turkish deputy ambassador, after the elections, Turkey wishes to embark on the path of improving relations with Israel, among other things – to receive back the Israeli ambassador who was returned to Israel at the beginning of the war, as well as to return the Turkish ambassador to Israel.
