by time news

The BJP has demanded an apology from the TV channel for criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and keeping the children on private television.

Controversy has erupted over a children’s comedy reality show on a leading entertainment television channel in Tamil Nadu, in which two children acted as King Pulicaci and as Minister Manguni.

The two children had spoken verses criticizing events including Prime Minister Modi’s black money operation and the sale of public sector companies.

They also jokingly said that they should go to the northern states in disguise and that no one would respect them even if they came as king in the south.

The video, which was posted by DMK and Congress members, including MP Jyoti Mani, went viral on social media.

Following this, there was strong opposition from the BJP to the comedy. Tamil Nadu BJP state leader Annamalai posted on Twitter in this regard, Hon’ble Union Minister Mr. L. Murugan contacted them and asked about a reality TV show in Tamil Nadu where the Prime Minister of India had some scenes that seemed to diminish their prestige.

Assured that action will be taken! My thanks to him.

As the issue has become a hot topic on social media, it is said that the channel has officially removed the video.
