/ Erbil, Naft Basra, and Newroz tied with Naft Maysan, on Tuesday, in the tenth round of the Iraq Stars Football League.

In the first match, which took place at Al-Fayhaa Stadium in Basra, Naft Basra Club tied with its guest Erbil with one goal each.

The first half ended with Basra Naft advancing with a free goal, which came from Romeo Resende from a penalty kick in the 31st minute.

In the second half, Yassin Samia scored for Erbil in the 71st minute, ending the match with a score of 1-1.

In the second match, which took place at Naft Missan Stadium, Naft Missan Club tied with its guest, Nawroz Club, with a score of 2-2.

The first half ended in a 1-1 draw, and Naft Maysan scored first from a penalty kick in the 34th minute, successfully executed by professional Alaa El-Din Al-Dali, and Newroz equalized from a penalty kick after Ahmed Saeed succeeded in executing a goal in the 45th minute.

In the second half, Aladdin Al-Dali scored a second goal for Naft Maysan, also from a penalty kick, topping the scorers list with 8 goals. Newroz returned to equalize the score in the 76th minute through professional substitute Ibrahim Tomeu.

The first half witnessed the expulsion of Naft Maysan’s player, Rami Ali Al-Othmani, in the 43rd minute due to the accumulation of cards, so Naft Maysan completed the match with ten players.

The second half witnessed a second expulsion in the 63rd minute for Newroz player Mortada Hadib after he obstructed Naft Maysan player Alaa El-Din Al-Dali while he was alone, so Newroz completed the match with ten players.

Nawroz team coach Vali Karim was also sent off by the referee of the match, Mohamed Sadiq, in the 79th minute for his repeated objections to the referee’s decisions.
