“Another aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces with Russian citizens on board took off from the airfield in Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan) to Moscow. The Il-76 of the Russian Ministry of Defense will deliver 145 Russian citizens to the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow, who arrived in Kazakhstan on tourist vouchers, on business trips and to rest with their relatives, ”the department said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Check-in for flights from Almaty was suspended today, January 11, due to lack of seats. Later, check-in for evacuation flights was resumed. From today, international flights with the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan, have been almost completely restored.
The situation in Kazakhstan has worsened after the authorities decided to raise the prices for liquefied gas. Because of this, on January 2, mass protests began, which escalated into riots. On the eve of the planes of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, more than 1.7 thousand people, including foreigners, were taken out of Kazakhstan.
