Two Iraqi and Chinese companies win investment in two oil fields within the two licensing rounds

Today, Saturday, two Chinese and Iraqi companies won the investment in the fields (East Baghdad – Northern Extensions) and (Dima – Maysan), as part of the supplementary fifth and sixth licensing rounds.

The (INA) correspondent said, “The Chinese company ZPEC won the investment in the East Baghdad field – the northern extensions, after competing with the Iraqi company KAR.”
Our correspondent added, “The Iraqi company KAR won the investment in the Dimah-Maysan field, as part of the fifth and sixth complementary licensing rounds.”
This morning, the launching ceremony of the fifth supplementary and sixth licensing rounds for oil and gas fields began, in the presence and patronage of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
The tour includes 29 projects for oil and gas exploration fields and patches, distributed among 12 Iraqi governorates.
The activities included competition between the companies applying for the projects attached to the fifth supplementary licensing round and the sixth licensing round, which includes oil and gas fields.
Oil Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad told the (INA): “The first day will include the announcement of the winning companies for the fields (East Baghdad Field – Northern Extensions, Dimah Field – Maysan – Middle Euphrates Field – Akashat – Al-Faw – Al-Anz – Tal Hajar). – Bulkhana – pubic)”.
