Two ministries gave 93 lakh taka to the chief adviser’s relief fund

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has deposited Tk 46 lakh 64 thousand 61 and the Ministry of Water Resources has deposited Tk 46 lakh 60 thousand 241 in the Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund to assist the victims of the ongoing floods in the country.

Out of Tk 46 lakh 64 thousand 61 of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund, Secretariat Tk 1 lakh 11 thousand 880, Directorate of Forests Tk 35 lakh, Directorate of Environment Tk 3 lakh 35 thousand 45, Bangladesh Forest Industry Development Corporation Tk 3 lakh 15 thousand 301 Tk, Bangladesh Forest Research Institute gave Tk 3 lakh 3 thousand 122, Bangladesh National Herbarium Tk 40 thousand 471, Bangladesh Rubber Board Tk 20 thousand 590, and Bangladesh Climate Change Trust Fund gave Tk 37 thousand 652.

On the other hand, out of the Ministry of Water Resources 46 lakh 60 thousand 241 taka, Secretariat 1 lakh 4 thousand 50 taka, Bangladesh Water Development Board 43 lakh taka, Water Resources Planning Organization 67 thousand 715 taka, Directorate of Water and Wetland Development 22 thousand 200 taka, River Research Institute 1 lakh 45 thousand rupees, and Joint Rivers Commission gave 21 thousand 276 rupees.
