Rogers’ Impressive Relief Record
Tyler Rogers, 34, brings a proven track record as a high-leverage reliever. He led all of Major League Baseball in 2023 with 81 pitching appearances, split between the San Francisco Giants and the New York Mets. The Mets acquired Rogers on July 30th in exchange for pitchers José Buttó and Blade Tidwell, along with minor league outfielder Drew Gilbert.
Since 2020, Rogers has consistently been among the most durable relievers in the league, leading the majors with 403 appearances and 406.1 innings pitched. His career ERA stands at an impressive 2.76 across 420 games pitched for both the Giants (2019-2023) and the Mets.
