Investigations revealed the defendants lured the victim to a residence under the guise of resolving a financial dispute. Once there, the victim was brutally assaulted, held captive for a week, and coerced into signing debt instruments. The gang escalated their crimes by filming the victim in a compromising position and subsequently disseminating the footage on social media in a calculated attempt to extort money from his family.
Authorities confiscated a vehicle and multiple mobile phones used in the operation. A forensic analysis of these devices uncovered incriminating footage that confirmed the organized nature of the gang’s activities and the severity of the offenses committed.

The defendants now face charges carrying the most severe penalties under UAE law – either death or life imprisonment – due to the coordinated nature of their criminal activities and the direct threat they posed to national security.
