Abu Dhabi: 98% of eligible people in the UAE who have won the fight against Kovid have completed the vaccination. The number of patients per day was limited to about 400. The UAE also has the lowest mortality rate due to Kovid.

Things to follow before traveling
- Assess the Kovid situation in the country of travel in the context of the spread of the new variant. Travel only in emergencies.
- Elderly people, people with diabetes and people with heart disease should avoid traveling to places where the virus spreads.
- Complete the recommended vaccine doses.

- Wash your hands often (use soap and water or sanitizers containing 70% alcohol)
- Maintain physical distance from others.
- Avoid crowded places.
- See your doctor immediately if you feel unwell.
- Follow local Kovid guidelines for travel and reunions.

Abu Dhabi: UAE authorities have put in place a robust system to quickly detect all infectious diseases and viruses, including monkeypox. The Ministry of Health has specified isolation and quarantine procedures for infected persons and those in contact with them.
In positive cases, the patient should remain in the hospital in isolation until the disease is cured. Those who have been in close contact with them should stay at home quarantine for at least 21 days. The ministry added that those in close contact would ensure that the home insulation was adhered to and that their health was monitored.
