Dubai: The UAE Ministry of Human Resources has announced the working hours of the private sector during Ramadan. Working hours during Ramadan will be two hours less than in previous months. In the UAE, working hours in the private sector are usually eight hours a day or 48 hours a week.​​​​

During Ramadan, this will be reduced to six hours a day, i.e. 36 hours a week. If you work longer than this, overtime benefits should be paid. Depending on the nature of work in the organization, remote work system may be arranged.

The working hours of the federal government employees were announced yesterday. Working hours in the government sector are from Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 2.30 pm. Work is from 9 am to 12 noon on Friday.
