Early reports indicate that a UAV struck the city of Kharkiv at approximately 12:35 local time. According to the city’s mayor,Igor Terekhov,an explosion was heard,and authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage. Prior to the strike, monitoring channels had reported a potential threat from Russian Lancet-type UAVs targeting the Alekseevka area of Kharkiv, with reconnaissance drones also observed flying over Dergachi and Alekseevka. “The city was previously hit by an enemy drone. Daily Toll: One Dead, Seven Injured, Including Children
The National Police reported that one person died and seven others where injured across the Kharkiv region on Saturday, October 26th. The attacks targeted Kharkiv city and five settlements within the Kharkiv, lozovsky, Izyum, and Kupyansky districts. in Kharkiv, UAVs struck the Shevchenkovsky and Kievsky districts, causing an acute stress reaction in five individuals – a 25-year-old man, two women aged 51 and 68, and two teenagers aged 13 and 15. Damage was reported to both private residences and apartment buildings, as well as a dormitory.
Further casualties were reported in the village of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, where a 64-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man were wounded by Russian shelling and afterward hospitalized after sustaining injuries to a private home.
