jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo appreciated the achievements of the Indonesian Uber Team in the 2024 Uber Cup.
Menpora Dito assessed that the achievements of the Indonesian Uber Team had exceeded the target even though they lost 0-3 to China in the final match.
According to Menpora Dito, initially the Uber Indonesia Team was targeted to reach the semifinals of the 2024 Uber Cup.
“Initially, the Uber (Indonesia) Team was targeted for the semifinals, meaning this has exceeded the target,” said Menpora Dito, quoted from the official website of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Jakarta, Monday (6/5).
He said that the women’s badminton team’s progress in reaching the final round of the Uber Cup was an achievement to be proud of because it could be realized again after 16 years.
“I think this is a good step for them in the future,” added Menpora Dito.
