Wendlick’s high school career at Divine Savior Holy Angels was nothing short of dominant. She led her team to back-to-back state championships, culminating in a remarkable 47-1 senior season that garnered national top-15 rankings. Individually, Wendlick was a force to be reckoned with, leading the state with 556 kills while also contributing 260 digs, 51 aces, and 48 blocks. Her impressive statistics earned her First Team All-State honors, showcasing her all-around skill set and leadership qualities. Rookie of the Year Talent in Ava Zamora

At Westview High School, Zamora continued to demonstrate her exceptional skills, totaling 862 assists, 668 kills, 410 digs, 120 aces, and 98 blocks. She was also a two-time First Team All-League selection and an All-League Academic Scholar Honoree, highlighting her commitment to both athletic and academic excellence. Zamora’s arrival provides the Gauchos with a dynamic and experienced setter who can effectively distribute the ball and orchestrate the offense.
