New Delhi: The move to repatriate Indians from conflict-torn Ukraine has begun. The special flight with 242 passengers on board returned from Kiev. The flight will reach Delhi shortly. Udyogasthar said there will be more services in the coming days. India today told the UN Security Council that it was concerned about the situation in Ukraine. India wants the issue to be resolved through diplomacy.

Russia has begun military operations in two provinces, which are seceding from Ukraine. The world was in a state of panic as Russian troops crossed the border in large numbers, including tanks. Russia’s position is that it has the right to defend its borders and defend itself. Ukraine says two soldiers have been killed in the past 24 hours in attacks by Rohingya-backed rebels. Twelve people were injured. Many of the world’s leading airlines have suspended services to Ukraine.
