The front line currently spans approximately 1,200 kilometers, and the depth of battle formations is increasing. Syrsky explained that the growing use of unmanned systems is causing these formations to expand not just along the front, but also deeper into the kill zone, now reaching 15–20 kilometers.

The commander-in-chief also stated that Russian forces did not achieve any substantial operational successes throughout January, suggesting that Ukrainian defenses and counter-offensives are effectively containing their advances.
