For more than two years, Russia and Ukraine have been engaged in a conflict that is now considered a war of attrition. Russia, for its part, has all kinds of domestically produced weapons, while Ukraine receives a lot of military aid from other countriesespecially of USA and its European allies. Recently Ukraine created a missile with ballistic capabilities of its own manufacture, with an effective range of 130 and 150 kmThe weapon will have GPS tracking systems so they can change direction and a 220 kg warhead.
The missile only has the ability to be launched from a specialized vehicle, so it will be adapted for launch systems. “Vikha” can launch them and it is hoped that they will be tested for mass production and use against Russian invaders.
For the time being, Western nations and other allies will continue to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people by providing them with weapons through Lend-Lease, as they have been doing since the war began in February 2022.
