“Are you in danger?” Ukrainian soldiers ask on a video of elderly women walking through rough terrain. Behind them you can see houses and wooden barns. The exact location is not known according to available information, but it is likely that the video was made in the countryside.

The senior women, who were not at all deterred by the presence of the Ukrainian army, started talking to the soldiers quite naturally, almost as if they saw the heavy military equipment of the neighboring attacked countries every day.

“No, but we could use a ride. My legs hurt,” they answered when asked about the threat of danger to the soldiers. The soldiers said they had no room for pensioners because they were full of ammunition.

“Do you speak Ukrainian?” asked the surprised soldier afterwards.
“Even though I’m not Ukrainian, I speak Ukrainian,” responded the senior woman.
“So kudos to Ukraine,” the soldier continued.
“Glory,” replied the grandmother.

The video was posted on the Telegram social network by Ukrainian blogger and volunteer Serhiy Sternenko, who is followed by almost 900,000 users on this platform. From there it also reached other networks, where it enjoys extraordinary interest. In just a few hours, it already has hundreds of thousands of views on various accounts.
