Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has implemented a new change for those coming to the country on Umrah visa. The new change will apply to those arriving from five countries. As part of this, Umrah pilgrims from Britain, Tunisia, Kuwait, Bangladesh and Malaysia will have to register their fingerprints. The Ministry of Hajj Umrah informed about the new law through a tweet.

Fingerprints can be registered through the smartphone application ‘Saudi Visa Bio’ to facilitate the entry process. After entering the app and entering the passport information along with scanning the face, the fingerprint of all ten fingers can be registered through the phone camera itself. After registering the fingerprint, it is possible to complete the travel procedures at the Saudi entrance gates quickly.
