Shock for their fans!
British actress Una Stubbs is dead. She died at home in Edinburgh on Thursday at the age of 84, her agent confirmed.
A message from the family said that Stubbs had died peacefully as a result of an age-related illness.

“Sherlock” fans knew you primarily as the landlady of the British master detective, Mrs. Hudson. Hollywood star Benedict Cumberbatch (45) plays the main role in the series.
Stubbs is a cult actor in the UK. Her career began in the 1960s with her breakthrough role Rita in the sitcom “Till Death Us Do Part”. Later the soap opera “EastEnders” followed, the British counterpart to “Lindenstrasse”. She also played in the series “Inspector Barnaby”, which was also successful in Germany.
Her agent Rebecca Blond praised Stubbs as a “wonderful actress whose screen and stage career spanned more than 50 years”.
She was a “mischievous, elegant, stylish, grateful, generous, kind and constant friend”, continued Blond.
