King Charles III, in his speech to the Bundestag, condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine, highlighting Europe’s efforts to help Kiev. “Freedom and dignity have been trampled on,” she said, pointing to the “unimaginable suffering” caused by Moscow’s troops. “We are deeply shocked by the destruction, but we can be encouraged by our unity when it comes to defending Ukraine, peace and freedom,” she stressed, praising Germany’s “decision to provide military support to Ukraine.”
