He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the 7th General Conference and 6th Central Council organized by Bangladesh Tanchangya Welfare Organization at Wagga High School grounds in Sapchari area of Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati on Friday (April 26). The state minister said that the Tanchangya community has progressed a long way in all the hill communities. Even in modern society, the Tanchangya community has retained its culture and traditions. It deserves praise.
Kujendra Lal Tripura MP also said that the Prime Minister has made the member of Parliament from Chittagong Hill Tracts Reserve Constituency of Rangamati. This gift of the Prime Minister will accelerate the coexistence of different communities in the hilly areas.
The state minister urged everyone to unite under the leadership of the newly appointed member of parliament to build Bangabandhu’s dream of Sonar Bangla and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s smart Bangladesh.
Earlier, State Minister for Hills Kujendra Lal Tripura MP inaugurated the program by hoisting the national flag and blowing colorful balloons. The event was presided over by Diptimoy Talukder, convener of Bangladesh Tanchangya Welfare Association and member of Rangamati Hill District Council. Najib Kumar Tanchangya, Member of the Convening Committee of Bangladesh Tanchangya Welfare Organization moderated.
