The engine is said to churn out 121bhp at 9,250rpm and 99Nm at 7,70.80rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox while an assist and slipper clutch are standard. The wheels on the Svartpilen 901 come in 17-inch alloys with rubber. In global markets, it will compete against Husqvarna Svartpilen 901, Yamaha XSR 900, Kawasaki Z900RS, Ducati Scrambler and KTM 890 Duke R.
There are currently three bikes available in the Indian market namely Husqvarna Vitpilen 250, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. After the European launch, the new Svartpilen 901 is likely to be launched in the Indian market at a price tag of around 3.5 lakhs.
