In Broward, Florida, a former UPS employee, identified as Brandon Saint Gerard, was accused of stealing high-value electronic devices during his time with the company.

Authorities revealed that this individual allegedly used his position to steal merchandise from the company’s facilities, hiding them before attempting to remove them at his own risk.

At only 24 years old, Brandon Saint Gerard had worked at UPS and now faces serious legal implications, being accused of having stolen items totaling $67,000, including a considerable number of iPhones, Airpods and other electronic devices.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office was alerted to his activities shortly before surveillance that would lead to his capture began.

The investigation carried out by the police office indicated that, after receiving an initial tip, the agents maintained surveillance of the person involved.

He was finally arrested when he ran a stop sign while leaving the UPS facility on October 3.

It was then that, inside his vehicle, detectives in that Florida town found a crucial number of devices, including iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, Airpods and an Apple Watch.

In that sense, it emerged that Saint Gerard could have been stealing for several months and that he supposedly confessed to his crimes after his arrest.

In response to this incident, UPS has issued a statement reinforcing its zero-tolerance policy toward theft, indicating that they have fired the suspect and are working with authorities to resolve this matter.

Meanwhile, Brandon will now have to wait for the final resolution of the Florida authorities, and take responsibility for his crime.
