Russia’s war on Ukraine has been going on for over 8 months. It was announced that four regions of Ukraine captured in the war would be annexed to Russia.

A large number of soldiers have been ordered to be mobilized for the Russian army in the ongoing war in Ukraine. In this context, it is reported that the United States will send an additional 725 million dollars in military aid to Ukraine.

Russia intensified air strikes this week, launching 84 missiles over several cities in Ukraine. At least 10 people were killed and many others injured, according to the Ukrainian government.

Following this, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in a statement yesterday that the US will send additional military aid to Ukraine. “The people of Ukraine are defending their freedom and independence with extraordinary courage and boundless determination, and we will continue to stand with the people of Ukraine,” he said.

Additional weapons and equipment will also be sent to Ukraine, including Himars rocket launchers, ammunition and armored vehicles. With this, the United States has sent a total of $18.3 billion in military aid to Ukraine under the administration of President Joe Biden.
