US delegation with NASA representatives arrives at Baikonur

Roscosmos reported that a US delegation arrived at Baikonur along with NASA representatives. They will take part in the launch of the first Russian-American crew on the ISS on September 21 under the cross-flight agreement. The second crew will leave on October 3 on the American ship Crew Dragon, which included Russian Anna Kikina.

For launch on September 21, Soyuz-2.1a rockets with the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft, which received its own name K.E. Tsiolkovsky, in honor of the 165th anniversary of the thinker and scientist, have already been installed at the Baikonur launch pad. The crew included Russians Sergei Prokopiev and Dmitry Petelin with American Frank Rubio. The total duration of the mission should be 188 days.
