/ The US Senate issued, on Monday, a bill on border security and aid to Ukraine and Israel, which includes a budget totaling $118 billion.
According to US media, it was decided to divide the budget of the bill issued by the House, allocating $60 billion for military aid to Ukraine, and $20.23 billion to address the US border crisis.
It was also decided to grant $14.1 billion to Israel, and to allocate $10 billion for humanitarian aid, including to Gaza, the West Bank and Ukraine, as well as $2.33 billion for Ukrainian refugees.
The council allocated $2.44 billion for US operations related to the conflict in the Red Sea and strikes against the Ansar Allah group, while it allocated $26.15 billion to replenish US weapons stockpiles provided to Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel, and $4.83 billion for “China deterrence” measures in the Indian and Pacific Oceans region.
For his part, US President Joe Biden supported the bill and called on Congress to quickly pass it.
