During the night, the United States moved a specialized aircraft called “Constant Phoenix” to the island of Crete. The task assigned to this aircraft is to detect the presence of nuclear materials in the atmosphere. Considering the current talk in Ukraine regarding a possible imminent attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the objective of this aircraft is quite clear: to find a reason to accuse Russia.
The aircraft in question, visible in the flight path map, reached the eastern Mediterranean, thus making a short journey to Ukraine. This could be interpreted as an attempt by Ukraine to invent an excuse (and document it) to involve NATO in direct retaliation against Russia.
“Nuclear sniffer” has arrived in Europe. A special aircraft WC-135R Constant Phoenix of the US Air Force was deployed on June 30 to the Chania airbase in Crete. It is from this base that RQ-4B Global Hawk reconnaissance UAVs and RC-135W Rivet Joint aircraft fly to the Black Sea… pic.twitter.com/u18RrvznJy
