USF Men’s Tennis Announces Challenging 2026 Spring Schedule

The University of South Florida men’s tennis program is poised for a competitive 2026 spring season, unveiling a schedule packed with formidable nonconference opponents, a rigorous American Athletic Conference (AAC) lineup, and exciting home matches at the USF Varsity tennis Courts.
Preparing for Postseason Play
The Bulls will kick off their regular season with a demanding stretch of road contests against some of the nation’s top programs. The schedule includes matchups against the University of Florida, UCF, washington – at a neutral site – the University of Texas, UNC Wilmington, UC Santa Barbara, Pepperdine, and the University of Miami. According to a team release, this early gauntlet is designed to provide crucial preparation as the team heads into conference play.
Home court Advantage in Tampa
USF fans will have ample possibility to support the team on home turf, with the Bulls’ home debut slated for early February. Throughout the spring,the USF Varsity Tennis Courts will host UCF,georgia Southern,Stetson,Clemson,Middle Tennessee State,Rice,Florida Atlantic,Liberty,Harvard,Charlotte,FGCU,and UNF. The regular season will culminate with a road match against Tulane in New Orleans.
championship and NCAA Tournament Aspirations
The pursuit of a conference title begins april 16-19 at the AAC championship in Tulsa,Oklahoma. Following the conference tournament, the Bulls will aim to extend their season at the NCAA Tournament, with first- and second-round action scheduled for May 14-17.
All home matches will be played in Tampa, and admission is free, offering fans an accessible opportunity to witness the action firsthand. Specific match times and any potential schedule adjustments will be announced closer to the start of the season.
A Decade of Leadership Under Coach Fisher
Leading the Bulls is Ashley Fisher, who is entering his 10th year as head coach for the 2025-26 season. Fisher has established a winning tradition, guiding the team to five NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the second round. He earned American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honors in both 2017 and 2019, leading USF to conference championships in those seasons.
