Thiruvananthapuram: Union Minister V Muraleedharan has said that the Central Government has not given permission for the implementation of the Silver Line project. The minister assured that the Center would not allow any scheme against the people to be implemented. People have to deal with it even if the officials no longer come with the yellow stone. There is no need to stonewall a court-sanctioned social impact study. Muraleedharan said the BJP would support the people to fight the law. The minister said that the police action in Madappally was planned and the policemen who reached there did not have a name badge.

Muraleedharan criticized the situation in which women could not live in Kerala and said that no action was being taken against the DySP who had raped women. What action did the government take after a woman complained that DySP Sreekumar had boarded her? In Kerala, if you stand outside your house, the police will catch you. Not in the name of provocation or resistance of the protesters at that time. Muraleedharan also criticized the police for wearing helmets instead of name badges to avoid being identified. Muraleedharan was speaking after visiting Madappally in Changanassery where police action was taken during the K rail strike.
