H. Ajith starrer ‘Valaimai’ directed by Vinod will be released in theaters in 2022 as a Pongal festival special. In this case, Vinod said about the film, this is the second script I wrote. I wrote this for a different hero. That story is different. That said it has no police story.

I took some things from the script I wrote and changed it anew. I made no compromises from my side. If the director says this is what I want, Ajith will not say no. I wanted him to be fit for this film. I told him to tie a tie to his hair because he was acting like a son. Hesitant at first, he later agreed, Vinod said.
