The possible motives for this act are unknown. The Draguignan prosecutor’s office announced, this Friday evening, to divest itself of the case in favor of the Toulon prosecutor’s office.

“In the wrong place at the wrong time”

The regional director of the company, Lahcene Lamaouche, would go there this evening. We are also thinking of her and her family. “On the facade of the establishment, the victim’s colleagues have also affixed a poster which soberly announces: “We inform our kind customers that our Lidl Le Luc supermarket will be exceptionally closed on Saturday January 7th as well as on Sunday January 8th. 2023”.

The mayor (DVD) of Luc, Dominique Lain, also visited the site. He wanted to support the store team, also marked by the violence of the attack. “This afternoon, I went to Lidl to show my full support for this young employee attacked with a knife, without apparent reason, by a young minor immediately apprehended”, he wrote on Twitter, while thanking the law enforcement.
