The first look poster of Varalakshmi-starrer V3, directed by multi-award winning Amudavanan, has been released. It has been reported that Varalakshmi has played the role of District Collector.
V3 stands for Vindhya, Victim, Verdict. A story of struggle against injustice. Reports also show how he is suffering due to pressure from elected representatives of the people. The director has said that the film is based on the true incidents that happened in Hyderabad, Uttar Pradesh and Kashmir.
The director has said that this is a film that presents a solution to sexual crimes. It is said that the story travels through all 3 eras: past, present and future. Varalakshmi seems to have acted in 3 different roles.
It is reported that initially Sai Pallavi was supposed to act, but then due to the date she did not get a call seat and Varalakshmi was chosen.
Kannada actress Bhavana Gowda plays Vindhi and Esther Anil of Papanasam fame plays her younger sister. The investigative narrator plays an important role.
